Recipe Box: Sparkling Sangrita

3 cups 100% pomegranate juice
1 cup apple juice
1 cup sparkling water or club soda
1 cup thinly sliced seedless orange
1 kiwi, peeled and thinly sliced
1 lemon, seeded and thinly sliced
2 Tbsp. white granulated sugar
1 Tbsp. lime zest
Pour the pomegranate and apple juices and sparkling water into the Sangria Pitcher.
Stir in the sliced orange, kiwi and lemon.
Mix the sugar and the lime zest together on a small plate or bowl; set aside.
Moisten the top of each glass with a slice of orange or a damp paper towel.
Dip the rim of each glass into the lime sugar. Carefully fill each glass half full with ice.
Pour 1 cup Sparkling Sangrita into each Sangria Glass, making sure each glass gets a few slices of orange, kiwi and lemon.

Prepare the recipe the night before, omitting the orange, kiwi and lemon slices. Pour mixture into a cubed ice tray and freeze. Use the Pomegranate Sangrita ice cubes instead of regular ice cubes when you prepare the complete recipe.
