Try This: Julie Anne’s Berry Yummy PB&J Granola

December17

I love granola, but I really don’t eat it often because:

a)      It is high in calories
b)      It has a lot of sugar
c)       It is expensive

But I’ll make an exception for Julie Anne’s Berry Yummy PB&J Granola. This granola has huge plump (dried) strawberries and big delicious crunchy clumps of rolled oats stuck to roasted peanuts and peanut butter.

Is it high in calories? Maybe: 120 calories for a ¼ cup serving. The problem is that no one will be able to eat just ¼ cup. While I was writing this, I finished off the bag (probably a half cup)… but it is so good!

I will say it is not too sweet… just the right amount of honey and brown sugar.

It is a little pricey, but hey, all of these “specialty” foods are because the makers “prepare every batch” by hand.

Julie Anne’s Berry Yummy PB&J Granola is a good source of protein and fiber. It has no cholesterol. It doesn’t contain fish, meat, poultry, eggs, shellfish, gluten, dairy, corn, yeast, molds, citrus or legumes. It does contain salt.

Mama’s thoughts: You should try this!
