Try This: Garlic Blossoms
Here’s a beautiful bouquet for your favorite cook: Garlic Blossoms.
Unlike its brutish big-brother bulb growing underground, these tiny purplish pink blossoms have a gentle flavor that delicately scents salads, vinaigrettes and vegetables.
A quick sauté in a little olive oil, a splash of lemon… that’s all you need to bring out their demure flavor.
So fresh. So easy. So summer.
I’m sold! Now if I can just locate them. Thank you for sharing. 🙂
Sadly, I think they are gone until spring! But now you know what you are looking for!
It’s a great idea , totally worth trying 🙂
I don’t think they hang around long, so grab ’em while you can. Only in the farmer’s market, although someone told me ethnic (Asian) markets might have ’em!
Yumm!! I cant wait to try!
I keep trying to add your button to my button swap widget but it wont add:(
Any suggestions?
I’d never seen them in the farmer’s market… I love finding new things, don’t you? I’ll email you the html widget info!
